I'm a freelance web developer. I make websites and web applications that help people do nice things.
I'm a Y Combinator alumnus, having served as Technical Director at 80,000 Hours. There, my work received public endorsement from Steven Pinker, Peter Singer and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
I hold a first class bachelors degree in philosophy and received two awards for academic achievement during my studies at the University of Sussex.
I am British but I live in Reykjavík, Iceland where I run a small coworking space by the sea.

I'm currently considering new projects.

In the words of my clients...
"Peter is one of the finest people we've had the pleasure of working with."
Valgeir Valdimarsson, Takk Takk
"I had the pleasure to work closely with Peter on a challenging project for one of our most demanding clients.
Peter has a strong end-user focus that helped us focus the scope of the project and had significant influence on the final project specification and scope. He is easy to work with and has great ability to communicate his opinions that always make good sense. His project management skills are exceptional, I will seek to work with Peter in the future and give him my best recommendations."
Kristján Gunnarsson, Kosmos & Kaos ehf.
"At all times I have found Peter to be reliable, hard-working, conscientious as well as adding value and creativity to all the projects we've collaborated on."
Rod Farquhar, Farquhar Design
"Thank you Peter for your excellent and impressive work. It's a joy working with people like you."
Víkingur Ólafsson, Reykjavík Midsummer Music
"Peter is very friendly and professional. He responded to my emails promptly, and was fast to put together an aesthetically pleasing webpage with minimal effort on my part. He was also helpful when it came to several logistical issues, such as finding the appropriate web address for my website."
Theron Pummer, Future of Humanity Institute
"It was great to work with Pete, not only because he was responsive, fast and efficient, but because he was able to contribute to strategic and design decisions. This was a huge benefit as I work with a remote team dotted around the world, who work in different time zones and are not always accessible. The site was delivered on time, and it works perfectly.""
